Inserting metadata directly onto images and extracting these metadata when needed in nihon.js would be a smarter solution than having to manually maintain images.js.

Examine how an exif editing tool (such as ExitTool: http://owl.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/) could be used to achieve this.
