Restriction of adding a member with same email as an existing member in the member list is not mentioned in the UG. #9

When attempting to add a member with same email as that of an existing member, error message which states that there exists a restriction to adding a member with same email as that of existing member. However, this behaviour is not documented in the UG.

Team's Response

We have provided an error message when user tries toa dd with the same email. Hence there should not be any issue with regards to this problem.

Reason for disagreement: Provision of error message is not sufficient in regards to an important mechanism such as duplicate detection. Lack of documentation would lead to user's expectation of what constitutes a duplicate contact to be different from is intended. This is hence clearly not a cosmetic bug as the team is proposing.
