I can use some blocked websites with WireGuard because they are illegal in Turkey. I can access this sites that I cannot access using my home internet by connecting to WireGuard installed on my home server. In both scenarios, my IP address is the same and the devices are coming out of the same internet. Could it be that WireGuard or this installation package contains a proxy because it bypassed the national blocking?
I did not come across a similar situation when I searched on the internet.
The fact that the sites were not blocked made me consider the possibility of the setup or WireGuard hosting a proxy and doubt the privacy of my network traffic.
