As the PR here, https://github.com/angristan/wireguard-install/pull/120 seemed stalled, and I really think the feature is nice to have. I did rebase the existing code base and adjusted it to the latest version of the script.
I tried to follow your guidelines and did test against the formatting. As there was a PR already I did not open an issue first as this seems redundant, please say something if this isn't the case.
