I'm considerring starting a fork/branch for upgrading to Angular 16.

@AnthonyNahas it's been pretty silent in here for quite a few months now with open pull requests. Are you still maintaining this? Any expected updates by you? Or are you still accepting pull requests? Without Angular 16 support, we have to search for a replacement for this neat package, because it prevents updating the entire app. 🙈

Next Angular upgrade I will consider putting it back in, but for now it's totally removed.

Consideration will be made for using it again if Image Sprite replacement for all those flag images is accepted as a future feature: https://github.com/angular-material-extensions/select-country/issues/85
