We're a little behind due to our being on an older version of typescript. We'll be cutting a new major soon & will be able to bring in the latest Firebase JS SDK.

@madmacc No ETA, but I'm working on getting everything up to TypeScript 5 which will allow us to publish a new version with COUNT.
