notification bar does not hide during gameplay #25

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load any ROM
2. Notice that buttons and graphics are rendered  behind Notification bar.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Either hide the Notification bar, or (since there are no hardware buttons), 
have rendering not occur behind Notification bar

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest available on Play store. ICS 4.0.3
