Currently, when someone opens a new issue or pull request in a GitHub repository, there is no automated way to provide an immediate response or acknowledgment. As a result, contributors might be left wondering if their contribution was noticed or if it's being addressed.
With the "Auto Comment" feature, the repository owners and maintainers can set up a predefined comment that will automatically be posted as a reply to the newly opened issues and pull requests. This automated response will serve as a quick thank-you message or setting the right expectations for further interactions.
