pdf schematic labels #861

The pdf schematic of the Arduino boards have not been generated properly.
The name of the wires of the schematics of the Arduino boards are not 
recognized as text by the PDF reader. This prevents using the search option to 
follow up signals.
Even if Arduino board schematics are usually small, the search option is always 
important to make sure no extra connection has been omitted.

A representative sample (arduino-mega2560_R3-schematic.pdf) was searchable in 
Preview on my Mac.  Could you give a specific example of pdf file and label 
name (and pdf reader) that isn't working?
The preferred mechanism for doing this probably involves using EAGLE and the 
provided CAD files.  Note that the freeware version of EAGLE can browse files 
that are beyond its limits.

Most of them are exported in a way you can search inside the PDF. If you have a 
specific example please send an email to support@arduino.cc
