Periodic update from URL option not working : error:200 #157

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.try enabling periodic update from URL option

2.in my case, it updates from :
file:///home/akash/foxReplace/FoxReplace.json

3.it says HTTP Error : 200 OK

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the HTTP 200 response is not a error. but it considers it as error and does not 
automatically load the file.
when i manually load the same file, it works.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Foxreplace : 0.16.1, Firefox : 35.0, Ubuntu

The returned status has changed in Firefox 35: "Non-HTTP XMLHttpRequest 
requests now return 200 in case of success (instead of the erroneous 0) (bug 
716491)."

As soon as possible. I will release a new beta version with this bug fixed so 
you don't have to wait for the next stable version, and I hope to release that 
beta this month, and even this week if I can. I will post the link here when 
it's published.

You can get the new beta version from 
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/foxreplace/versions/. The fix is 
included in v0.17.0b2. Note that this is a beta version, so you may find some 
bug, but as far as I know there isn't any major issue.
