I made a big mistake and updated to the latest version of firefox but now I do
not know how to use my cool FoxReplace. I know it is in there at the add-ons
but I do not know how to use it on web pages. Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you

Well, you can use it just as before. What is exactly your problem?

If you were on Firefox 3.6 or earlier, and now you are on 4.0 or newer, maybe
you are missing the menus. Then you can show them by pressing the Alt key
(assuming you are on Windows).

If this is not your problem, explain what is.

The original poster may have the same issue as myself.

I had FoxReplace 0.12.2 working fine in Firefox 8.x on RHEL5 Linux. After
upgrading to Firefox 9.0.1 (released late December 2011), FoxReplace became
disabled. The Firefox Addons section complains "FoxReplace is not compatible
with Firefox 9.0.1."

I've tried uninstalling the addon, restarting Firefox, and reinstalling, but
the problem persists.

I don't see this problem with Firefox 9.0.1 on Windows 7; FoxReplace 0.12.2
works fine there.

I don't know what is the problem, because it is marked as compatible up to
Firefox 10.*. As a workaround you can install Add-on Compatibility Reporter (
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ ),
which lets you enable any extension. But it should work without this.
