The option Allow for music to play when Chrome is closed is partially broken. If you already have other extensions that keep Chrome open in the background, then this extension works as intended.
If you do not have any other background extensions, then Chrome will just close and the music will stop.
A couple users mentioned this on Discord, so just wanted to submit a ticket for it. According to @PikaDude , the extension just is not enabled to run in the background on its own.
