Add a desktop entry to launch the GUI from a launcher. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/desktop_entries

If we are to add a desktop entry, then won't we need an icon? Nobody here agrees on one icon so we don't really have an icon to choose....

well you don't NEED an icon but yes it would be nice to have an icon with the .desktop file
