Is it possible to add a backup server? #66

Hi there,

I was wondering if there was a way we could implement two (or more) different servers for posting in case the first is having any warnings or errors. Recently many posting providers have been suffering down-times. So I was wondering if there was a way this could be implemented? Something like if a warning/error is detected. Don't stop posting but instead switch posters and repost/post whats left?

Just a thought I had.

Yeah, there's no such functionality at the moment unfortunately.
You can actually supply multiple servers, but articles just get uploaded randomly to the servers. I suppose if you opt to ignore errors, and one of the servers goes down, you'll be left with connections to the other servers, so in that sense, it kinda works, but it's not really like a typical 'backup server' scenario.

It'd be nice to expand the multi server support to have various distribution schemes.

I generally interpret closed as meaning that it's done or won't be implemented, so it would make sense to leave it open I think.

That would be a great implementation especially too me running multiple servers and if one dies rip and I start pulling my hair off and trust me I don't have much left soo... and animetosho thank you for nyuu and parpar you are freaking Awesome!
