What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Terminal Emulator from the Nexus One
2. Leave the default shell running (sh)
3. Press Alt+Tab, then Alt+Tab back to AndroidScreencast

What is the expected output?
<nothing>

What do you see instead?
@^

These characters are not visible in `ash`, but they affect what you type
(probably toggling some control sequence)
