repo init fatal: Unable to look up android.git.kernel.org

Hi I am getting following problem:-

steps to reproduce the problem:
repo init -u git://gitorious.org/rowboat/manifest.git -m rowboat-gingerbread.xml

Error output:

Getting repo ...
   from git://android.git.kernel.org/tools/repo.git
fatal: Unable to look up android.git.kernel.org (port 9418) (Name or service 
not known)

operating system:
Ubuntu-10.04 LTS -lucid lynx

Can help in resolving the issue or is it rowboat bug?

Does this have Beagleboard support?
Do rowboat resolve this issue?

Hi,

I found a work around for kernel.org is down and now me able to download the 
source code.If anybody has any issue,i shall update it
