External players not updating progress time or mark episode as seen

Steps to reproduce

Opening a episode using VLC as external player

Expected behavior

After watching the episode the episode progress is updated or marked as seen.

Actual behavior

VLC won't update progress or marked as seen after watching episode and thus trackers can't update along with it.

Same with me like in previous it works perfectly but in latest version it's not

same with me but i use mx player pro as external player i also have to enable subtitle on each play or when i lock and unlock my phone when i play the video right in mx player pro the subtitle is enabled by default

i am using the preview version: r7477
