Exactly similar to video player locked feature, there should be a way to lock & keep the manga controls invisible even if the screen gets touched. It's kind of annoying & immersion beaker everytime they pops up because of accidental touches during scrolling.
After the manga controls are locked it should appear as a small lock icon on top left of the screen, exactly like video player locked icon position & the lock icon should only appear if the screen gets touched.

Just like the image says please make my wish come true 😋
Don't add the lock icon in the bottom of the screen otherwise it still stays distracting
