LGTM. I tested on my Ubuntu 14.04 VM and was able to set the speed and change lanes without a problem.

With this change, we will also need to update the docs at: https://github.com/anki/drive-sdk/wiki/Getting-Started-on-Ubuntu http://developer.anki.com/drive-sdk/docs/programming-guide

I added a PR (#21) against gh-pages that updates the programming guide with respect to SDK MODE.
