Tree structure (outliner) of notes like in SuperMemo #3243

Anki could be used as a knowledge base program (outliner) with tree structure.
You would be able to put into it any information preserving its structure and order,
such as a book consisting of nested sections. Then you could memorize each section
of the book (note) separately using standard Anki methods.
You could make one-field note for each section of the book and put the notes in a tree
structure (outliner) preserving the hierarchy (structure) of the sections of the book.
Doing so, you could read the book from the beginning until the end or study it memorizing
separate sections of it (notes).
The problems is that Anki does not allow building tree of notes. You can build a tree
of tags but not notes.
If somebody develops a plugin for it, Anki could become the best in the world knowledge
base program (outliner) with a unique feature for such programs - possibility to memorize
the contents. It would be nice to have such feature in AnkiDroid too.
SuperMemo already has such feature: http://help.supermemo.org/wiki/Tree
Though SuperMemo does not have Android version.
As an example of an outliner, check the best outliner TreNotes (Windows and Android
versions): http://discoverfuture.blogspot.com/2012/09/best-knowledge-base-programs.html

Hi thanks for the suggestion, we probably wouldn't implement this unless it was first
implemented in Anki Desktop, so you'd better post the idea over there:

Closing this ticket since it's not needed here if the suggestion is already made to
the main project.

This ticket should not be closed, as the feature is not implemented in neither desktop
Anki, nor AnkiDroid.

Once it's implemented in the main project, it will be implemented in AnkiDroid
