Activity Indication #4

S3

when waiting for information to load, we need to provide some sort of indication that activity is happening. This should be universal throughout the app, and done in such a way as to provide feedback, but not be intrusive. I'm leaning toward a small black box with an activity indicator icon and the word "loading"

When loading the quest list, this should be present. I get the status bar at the top quickly, but then the list comes in all at once later.

What we have at the moment inside the app is the default style that is provided by android and iOS. Its the circular spin in the both the cases. What exactly you meant by "small black box", any reference is there ?

This may be default, but the actual indicator is FAR TOO SMALL (see the screenshots i posted to issue #10). I'm fine with the animation, but the user will not be able to see it. We need to make it more obvious... make it larger, provide background, something... I'd like it to look nice of course without being overly intrusive. If we could show the actual page loading behind it, that would be good too.

As for the black box, I get something similar to the attached when I send email in gmail... 2014-03-27 06 42 53

To surprise, I also just updated the loading similar to this, other than message "Loading", it will also have the spinning loader.

Ok, great. Hope it's discoverable yet attractive :)
