You can tweak that using ubuntu-tweak to revert to bright. There are two varients

My Flatabulus is bright. How do I change it to dark? I checked in ubuntu-tweak there's no option to change. Thanks! FYI: First, I installed the theme via apt-get, then installed ubuntu-tweak.
