overlay item disappear in the east/west border

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I extended Overlay class and implemented the draw function.

I'm using Projection.toMapPixels and Projection.getScreenRectangle to see if 
the overlay item needs to be drawn or not.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

the item will also be displayed when the map is between the east/west boarders. 

for example, currently if I scroll the map east, when I cross the east boarder 
the item disappears before it comes out of the screen.
