Preliminary thoughts: try using this Excel extension and pull Linkedin data into the sheet to create new Google events? Potential blockers: events have to be made through Google Form to be entered into the sheet...

based on this, it sounds like any solution we created with chrome extensions / editing the calendar UI would be pretty hack-y / prone to breaking whenever google updates calendar?
