participation ladder

here's the basic of the participation ladder, there's more parts but to make it easier to handle i've shortened it

the app is going to be participation in your service rather than participation in your care because it would be too complicated so this will be easier. Me and Nick will try to write the bubbles tomorrow but I'm going to be in the AFC King's Cross area all day tomorrow.

Thanks for doing this. For the ladder it might actually be easier if there are 8 steps (Rich said he thinks he saw 8 on the original sheet), its the questions that we need to keep down really. We can go ahead with the 5 but if you want to use 8 that could be better. For the questions, can you aim for 10 or less for the initial demo on Friday? Also can you decide on a single word that we can associate with each question. This will go inside each circle.

Its currently an 8 sided shape which spins and displays very nicely. Would possible to change to a pentagon but wouldn't look quite as good, could we perhaps have 8 for friday? And I can work on reducing the number of steps if absolutely necessary at a later date.

here's the other 3 which are the last ones on the ladder:

Tokenism When you have a voice but have little or no choice about what you do or how you participate

Decoration When you are used to help a cause in an indirect way and adults do not pretend that it was inspired by you or other young people

Manipulation When adults use you or others to support a cause and pretend that the cause was inspired by you and others.
