CSI Miami - colon causes failed scan #620

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

Colon was recenty re-added to allowed character titles.

However this is causeing a mismatch scanning some titles.

-- report --

I have a folder called "CSI Miami", and in the folder there are video files
with the format "9x01.avi, 9x02.avi, ..."

If i make a scan on the folder, the logs shows that is compared the show name
"CSI Miami" with "CSI:Miami" and then discarded by your program (mayber i think
its about the : ).

Maybe you´ll be aware for this and drop the punctuation character from the
show names taken from tvrage and thetvdb before compare to the folder name ...
this helps surely the name checker to fin "csi miami" in the show list returned
by checker.

This is partially fixed due to new edit_dist matching. But that is just by
coincidence!

It now works, but, as you says, its only due to edit_dist matching and just
coincidence inst it?.

Then its finally corrected or it needs a bit more changes for rest of other
cases?
