flatarray support for string[]
don't add empty item for null arrays
support for primitive list arrays (e.g. byte[][])
add SkipSimpleNullValues (default=true) to align with FileDBReader command line behavior

Note: original unit tests are unchanged. Behavior they covered is unchanged.
