'Video Picture Adjustments' doesn't have any effect. #147

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on view
2. Click on Video Picture Adjustments
3. Modify some of the settings (and click close)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: (In my case) Turning up the brightness or gamma to brighten the
picture as it's too dark on my screen. Instead: Nothing changes, at all.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Enable the OnScreen Display option and see if the bar changes when you adjust
the
picture. Also you might need to try a different vo, some of those features
don't work
with all vos.

Try the X11 video output and see if works there. I just tested the option on my
machine using the XV output and it worked fine.

Thanks a lot!
The OSD didn't show any changes at first. But when i changed to VO to 'gl' (is
this
like opengl?), the changes do have effect!

Adrian.

Yup, the gl vo uses the opengl subsystem and should be quite fast.

Closing issue...
