This also affects gecko-mediaplayer plugin. When playing something via the
gecko-mediaplayer plugin, go Fullscreen, press escape, full screen window
disappears
and plugin square turns gray. gnome-mplayer and mplayer disappear from the
processlist.

ESC is defined the same as mplayer, to terminate the app when pressed.
Fullscreen can be exited using F, CTRL-F, F11 (Gnome standard) and the icon and
the
right click menu.

For the stand-alone gnome-player it sounds reasonable to let it exit on esc to
stay
in line with mplayer, but for the plugin however I disagree. Most other video
plugins
use Esc to leave full screen mode (windows mediaplayer, but also the youtube
flash
player and other sites with flash movies). Once the plugin is stopped/shutdown
via
Esc, there is no way to restart it apart from reloading the complete page.

operation
