can't stop or quit when playing internet stream media such as mms

when playing internet stream media, the stop button not work, either the 
close button.

but playing local files don't have such problem.

seems it happened before, and i have reported bugs. But i dont know when 
it happen again, cause i don't watch the internet video often.

gnome-mplayer -v: the ends:

and then gnome-mplayer still won't quit. and this window died. but if i 
directly use control+c, gnome-mplayer will quit normally, it happen after 
i click the stop button or close button.

but i can't always open gnome-mplayer through a terminal, right? ;)

Hi, I am using gnome player on 1.0.8 version in Linux mint 17.1 and I can 
reproduce the same problem.

When I open a stream file, I cannot close the program not even killing the 
process.

It plays the file again and again.
