Currently, the converter expects folders and files. Folders are turned into volumes, files into letters.
But with the lists and references (bio, biblio, artwork, and possibly more) we have to think again about the folder structure.
I would suggest: make a folder next to proeftuin, call that folder references (a generic term for index, bibliography, list of people, list of places, ect) and put the biblio.xml file in there. The name is not important, I will look at the processing instruction at the top of the file. That will give me the information how to handle the contents of each file.
I will then turn those files in separate sections, one for each file, and the contents of those files in separate chunks. I will record the anchors, so that the entries can be referred to from the letters.
This will lead to quite a bit of conventions and configurations.
