Ideally we'd have something like https://icanhazdadjoke.com/ where there is a front end, and also an API. You know you're making an API call rather than loading the whole page if the client sends the response-type: application/json header.

Hey, hello there, I hope this issue is still on, I'd like to create frontend for this API will be using HTML, CSS, Javascript or Reactjs. Please give a heads up so that I can start on it. I am experienced frontend developer, now focusing cotributing to open source.
