Hello, I use ubuntu gnome-shell last version and PREVIOUS direction doesn't 
work:
CHANGE_DESKTOP>direction=PREVIOUS</action>
CHANGE_DESKTOP>PREVIOUS</action>

The next works fine

Hi,

I found a workaround using xdotool. 

Install xdotool using 
sudo apt-get install xdotool

predefine a shortcut for previous desktop, for example ctrl+alt+left,

then run touchegg-gce and put as action "run command" with 
xdotool key Ctrl+Alt+Left. 

Works fine for me ;)
