Helo I've insalled Touchégg 1.1 from the source on a Xubuntu 12.04. It works,
but the config file i've made isn't noticed. It still using the default
settings.

I Put this file (in attachment) in this folder :

/home/toto/.config/touchegg/touchegg.conf

When i run touchégg I've got this :

(touchegg:4568): Gtk-WARNING **: Impossible de trouver le moteur de thème dans
module_path : « equinox »

(touchegg:4568): Gtk-WARNING **: Impossible de trouver le moteur de thème dans
module_path : « equinox »
Reading config from  "/home/toto/.config/touchegg/touchegg.conf"
Try to make a multitouch gesture. If everything goes well the information about
the gesture must appear
[+] Avaliable gesture:
     Name ->  Flick
[+] Avaliable gesture:
     Name ->  Drag
[+] Avaliable gesture:
     Name ->  Pinch
[+] Avaliable gesture:
     Name ->  Rotate
[+] Avaliable gesture:
     Name ->  Tap
[+] Avaliable gesture:
     Name ->  Touch

Could you help me ?

Thank you

When you perform any gesture, their name and their associated action appears in
your terminal? The same problem with the default configuration?

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. I finally found the solution.

The default configuration was working well and the gestures, their name and
their associated action was appearing in my terminal.

The problem came from conflicts beetween softwares' default shortcuts keys and
the OS shortcuts keys. Main OS shortcuts keys were working well with keyboard,
ignoring applications shortcuts. But with the touchpad the conflict was not
solved so nothing was done.

The solution : change the main shortcuts configuration to avoid conflicts with
applications' shortcuts.

Many thanks for Touchégg, a really nice software !
