preset starting/ending locations for track recording

PLEASE search for previous similar feature requests before filing one.

I've searched as well as I can think of terms to search for, and haven't found 
anything.

Please describe what your requested feature would do, how it would work,
etc:

I use mytracks for biking but sometimes forget to start recording after I 
unload my bike from the car, before I start pedaling. I'd love to be able to 
project a waypoint to the parking lot that will start the recording when I get 
there, and stop recording when I get back there.

If you're a developer, are you willing to implement this yourself? (you
probably still want to let us know so we can discuss how it'll work and
whether we believe it's a good feature to be merged into the main mytracks
distribution)

Still trying to make time to dig through the code. Between this feature and my 
request for racing against myself,
