App not working any more since update

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start My Tracks (I use it on HTC Incredible)
2. Menu -> Record Track
3. Walk 2 miles on a Trail
4. Menu -> Stop Recording

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The map is not highlighted with my track, my distance was not recorded the 
whole time, no elevation gain no values are populated. 

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?
MyTracks Version: 1.0.19
Android Version: 2.1

If possible please provide a log.  Either upload here or send to mytracks-
support@google.com.

Please provide any additional information here:
The last time this app worked perfectly was Sept 27. I have downloaded the 
updates and has led to this issue. I used to rely on this app when I hike. This 
is an issue for me.

I got mine to work.

I uninstalled "MyTracks". Then reinstalled the app. It still gave me the same 
issue but then I clicked on "My location" (Menu -> My Location), then 
everything started to function normally.

Before you try to uninstall/reinstall the app, try to start the application and 
hit "My Location", perhaps that will resolve the problem.

This did not correct the issue with my phone though it is a little closer- off 
my actual location by 10 miles.

works?

The MyTracks app began working with no problem around the first of November.  I 
have no idea what triggered the correction.
