Add Speed Graph at the endpoint of Google Maps export. #261

When My Tracks exports a track to Google Maps it includes an elevation chart at
the end point. I would also like the option to have it export the speed graph
as well.

Is there anywhere I can access this graph outside of my phone? I'd really like
to be able to view this in overlay with elevation. After uploading to Google
Docs and Google Maps, I can't find it anywhere.

One way with the current code is to export as a CSV file, open it in a
spreadsheet application, and plot the graph from the elevation column.
You should also be able to do something similar from Fusion tables.

So, is there a simple way to somehow add the time-stamp to eahc coordinate
exportet to fusion tables? So one could retrieve the speed information?

I think this might be the answer to what you want to do:

• Export the tracks as a GPX file
• Open Google Earth
• Select: File > Open (or Ctrl+O)
• Navigate to the GPX file you exported and open it (make sure you select to
open either "All Files" or "GPS" in the file type drop menu.)
• Accept the default setting from the menu that pops up
• Either right click on the path in map or find it in the "Places" menu to
the left. Select "Show Elevation Profile"

This should show you both speed and elevation in the same profile.

Comment 6 helps. Now I can atleast view the speed on google earth. Is there a
way to make the speed graph show up in google maps simply by sharing? I removed
the elevation graph from my chart settings on my phone and uploaded yet it
still uploaded the elevation. It seems like its set on only sharing that data
and nothing else.
