something that would be great is a gui of some sort perhaps with the help of autohotkeys window spy to add the program entries needed, tho at minimum if could add the window spy when right clicking auto-type it would be a great help

Is doable and down the pipeline seems like a nice idea but in a limited capacity.

Adding the whole Window Spy wouldn't make much sense as opposed to, let's say, hitting a key combination and bring a small UI where the user selects any of the options (executable or title or class). Perhaps even launching a target selection from the tray.

Right now I'm testing the last batch of changes in the develop branch (and a couple others not pushed). After those, I believe the first thing is to add a UI for the preferences as that what scares regular users (programmers and power users are fine with text-based configurations).

The addition will requires little in the eyes of the user, but under the hood there's a bit more involved. Thanks for your suggestion and certainly I'll look into it.

PS: I'm changing the title from "Suggestion" to "Ability to update entries".

well yes that is better didn't know it was on the roadmap, that is great news.

Well like I've said, it'll be after I have some time for a UI and seems for the moment that W11 is having issues.
