How to get status (on/off) on F523 actuators #43

Hello,

I have 4 F523 actuators in my home which control corresponding loads, with no power consumption measurement; when I configure these devices inside configuration.yaml, I get no functions that allow me to understand if their status is on or off, since it looks like HA only wants to grab power consumption, as if they were F522, and this is simply not possible on these devices.

Could you please show me how to display status in this case ?

Thank you in advance

Kind Regards

I'm not sure I understand what you want. What messages would trigger the state change? Would you also need to control the actuator or just monitor its status? By the way, there seem to be two kinds of F523, one with addresses as 5N and one with addresses as 7N#0, which kind do you have?

Hello, thank you for prompt reply; in m case all of the F523 actuators are of the type 7N#0, and ideally I would like to be able to both monitor their status , and force their working condition (i.e set them on / off) from the HA gui

Unfortunatey, I have no idea about what OWP messages to send , and about making an automation that forces status changes

Kind regards

Hi, has this problem been resolved with F523? I can't get the status :(
