Slicing problem #43

Hi, i have 3d printed routes in the past, however i have gone to do another and lately i have found a problem. the stl file looks fine on screen but when you look on Cura in the slices view you can see there is a problem on the layer where the elevation begins above the base layers. I cant find a way round it, it hasn't worked for 3 different gpx files, i have tried both the old version of cura which shows the error in the sliced view. and the new cura which doesnt show the problem but doesnt print right like it used to.

I have also tried various print settings with different wall thicknesses, Hopefully the issue can be seen in the screenshots.

Any help here would be appreciated greatly, Thanks David

I have found my problem, it was one of the retraction settings in Cura and makes all the difference!
