Eyecatcher mode is broken #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set eyecatcher=yes
2. Put something in the eyecatcher box

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It won't compile anymore, I expected to see the eyecatcher on the left.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
