The [Alt]+[Down] keystroke combination completely locks Shareaza #89

I discovered this while doing screenshots with the Greenshot utility : with version 2.7.10.2, the [Alt]+[Down] keystroke combination instantly and completely locks Shareaza, requiring to shut it down and restart it to regain control over the interface. It happened twice at least. I'm not sure if it's specifically related with Greenshot, or a general bug. When it happens, pressing [Alt] again does display menu items but with a slightly altered aspect, and no interaction is possible. Even weirder, the info panel still displays the correct information about items that are indeed supposed to be where the mouse pointer is, and continues to show the correct information if switching to a different area (for instance going to a user browsing tab to “Transfers” or “Network”), even though the main display underneath is no longer updated. Now I dread using the [Down] key when doing a series of screenshots, even though it's quicker and more convenient than switching from the keyboard to the mouse repeatedly, or if I do, I'm very careful not to hit [Down] while [Alt] is still pressed.

Uhm... I was unable to replicate it. Did you try my last build? Do you still have the issue ?

Hi, First of all, thank you very much for resuming development on this potent but far from flawless piece of software ! All the reports I have made so far concern version 2.7.10.2 which is as far as I know the last official release from 2017. I have yet to try any of your builds. Do you consider the last build safe to use ? What significant changes have been made so far ? I just tried : indeed the issue seems to be specifically related with that Greenshot utility I mentioned, it does not happen if Greenshot is not launched. I launched Greenshot and did that keystroke combination again, Shareaza's window completely disappeared this time (although the icon is still at the same spot on the task bar, it's still in the Task Manager with no special warning, and the Shareaza.log file keeps getting new entries meaning that it's still working, only I can no longer interact with it). If I close Greenshot, the window does not reappear. If I try to maximize the window from the task manager, it doesn't reappear either. It's very weird, as the symptoms are very different from when I first noticed it, although the end result is the same : I can no longer see or do anything and have to shut it down. EDIT : Although the main window is no longer visible, I can still display the menus by pressing the [Alt] key, and navigate through them with the [Up] [Down] [Left] [Right] keys. If I disable “Show tool bar” for instance, part of the background (in this case the icons on the Windows desktop) moves about 1 centimeter upward, while Shareaza's main window remains invisible. (Reminds me of the original Predator movie : “The jungle came alive and took him!” O_O)
