volume keys won't start flashlight despite all permissions #31

as title says – i cannot start using torch with volume buttons when screen is turned off. once i turn it on it's responsive and fine. is it known issue? how could i help to fix it? this is clean android 8.1

perhaps i rushed with an issue report. volume buttons on/off works, but it crashed twice before it's smooth as is now. an info about crash report has appeared. if i could know how to reach it i can share it here. before i close issue i will allow myself to ask two questions – would it be possible to have a delay on pressing volume buttons? like two seconds? in my case it's turned on/off almost instantly… also, why is the background service taking 75mb? i think it's a bit much considering that kde connect is about 10mb. thanks!
