File upload > 2MB fails #573

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Disable directory listing in /etc/apache2/httpd.conf
1. Upload file approx >2 MB by drag-&-drop.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
File uploads. Instead, log shows:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.5.14 OS X 10.9

Please provide any additional information below.

I want directory listing off. Can mollify work around that?

Fixed by setting php.ini max_upload_size to a large value. However, other files 
 ~300MB now suffer from

Server limits can be bypassed with chunked or stream uploading:
