After installation, IE8 reports errors on page

(using Mollify 1.5.5.1)
After a clean new installation all I get is an empty page.

I've tried both with Chrome 5.0.342.9, and IE7.0.5730.11; both single-user 
and multi-user file based configuration.

It seems like your host does not understand the request url format, and that's 
why you 
get an unknown service error. I'm not sure why is this, but I'll look into this.

Thanks for checking this.
Another weird thing, is that the log mentions a few times the hebrew word 
נדרש 
(meaning "required"). Hebrew is my mother tongue; but GoDaddy / Mollify aren't 
native Hebrew speaker ...

Maybe it's a problem with malfunctioned localization attepmt?

I was wondering the same thing, you're right that Mollify does not speak 
Hebrew. But I 
guess this is related to your browser, maybe you have set Hebrew as language 
there? 
None of the server messages have that word, so this shouldn't be any issue to 
worry 
about.

I know the reason now, It's unbelievable how differently PHP servers operate.

Request url is in syntax "script.php/request/path", and what server
needs is the "request/path". This is resolved based on the information
PHP server provides, but it seems that in your host the information is
different than usually (none of your params actually provide this
info).

But I'll come up with some solution, and let you know

Try opening url "http://haramaty.info/mollify/backend/r.php/session/logout". It 
will 
reset the session, and then you can log in again.

Unless you have this in your configuration.php, this might be
something your host provider adds automatically. But since server
provides json data, this makes it invalid and nothing works. You could
ask about this from your provider if there is something that could
prevent it.

No, I don't have this in my configuration.php
My server is GoDaddy. It putts ads automatically. That's probably the 
explanation to 
the "alphagodaddy.com/hosting_ads/".

I run other PHP libraries in the past (such as Joomla, Magento and PFN), and 
the ads  
have never problematic.

Can we bypass this somehow?

I've Googled a bit, and found this:

It appears that his code also had problems with GoDaddy ads interfering with

response, and he described how he solved this.

The solution described in that page is simply finding the iframe tag from 
response 
and then cut it out. Dirty hack, but I guess it works.

Unfortunately this is very specific to GoDaddy and totally unnecessary to 
"normal" 
sites, so I cannot include it in the script as is.

Instead, I'll try to come up some way to have custom response handlers, and 
then 
provide a "GoDaddy response cleaner". As a concept this isn't that complex, but 
I'm 
in the middle of 1.6 version so this might not happen any day soon. Perhaps in 
the 
1.7.

I will move this into ready status when I've implemented this. Unfortunately I 
cannot 
give any estimations, my time on this project is not regular at all, so I have 
a rule 
that never make any schedules or promises :) I hope you understand.

I get so many requests these days that if I started following all of them, I 
would 
never get anywhere, so I'm putting all requests on queue and review them when I 
start 
a new version. There has been few cases where the need is so great that I've 
made a  
an exception for a small compensation.

Making your own changes is of course possible as this is open source. But 
client side 
is compiled with GWT, so the compiled javascript is not eaxctly human readable 
or 
editable. So you should really need to set up a development environment, then 
make 
modification to the Java source, and then compile it.

My goal is to make a callback mechanism so you could add your own javascript 
handler 
without needing to touch the compiled js.

I get the same error as soon as I try to configure (builtin) plugins. As long 
as I have no plugin in the configuration file everything works perfect. 
Unfortunately the whole project depends somehow on the plugins. If you want me
