This is a backport of PR #8477 as merged into main (ac3c04357cb24c07c1038702df67de1cb21d710b).

SUMMARY

Add subsections and improve formatting.
Add example-009 'Merge single list'
Adding links to module and plugin options in docs/docsite/helper/lists_mergeby
