@bbaassssiiee WDYT? If you think that https://github.com/ansible-community/ansible-vault/pull/311/files is ok, then that is better and this PR can be closed.

@bbaassssiiee Any chance of getting this merged or is https://github.com/ansible-community/ansible-vault/pull/311/files better? I kind of prefer the other PR as 1.9.0 is old.
