vmware/openstack molecule-plugins #114

Open rnsc opened 1 year ago

rnsc commented 1 year ago

Hello,

I see that the old repositories for the drivers for vmware and openstack were archived and not added here. Is that something that will come in the future or are those abandoned due to lack of maintenance?

Thanks,

@rnsc

Thanks for reporting this.

Could you help migrate them into this repo?

I'm not sure what are the rules to include a plugin here. I guess that it at least needs someone to them it on regular basis to fix bugs reports or side-effects of changes in other parts of the code (for instance changes in molecule). I guess it's also important for plugins where we can't run CI for them. Anyway, I guess it's up to @ssbarnea to decide about such kind of things.

@ssbarnea do you have plans to include Vmware driver or using VMware with Molecule is completely abandoned ..?

Is https://github.com/ansible-community/molecule-vmware still the migration queue?

Many orgs use VMware internally. This would be something that increases Molecule adoption significantly I think.
