I've actually been lobbying the same thing for other projects in the past, but never got to getting the credentials for implementing it.

@webknjaz That's interesting to hear. Would you mind me asking what benefits / motivation you have for this approach?

@oraNod it was thought that it might be best to keep all the docs under the same domain. But that didn't happen, plus the politics wasn't in favor after all. FWIW RTD is good unless there's a serious need not use it. But even if you publish the docs to a common location, you'd still want RTD's PR builds because there's no replacement, and you wouldn't want to reinvent the wheel for this.

Closing this PR. We discussed the approach and will go with RTD for now. Need to make it clearer how the docs.ansible action fits into the wider picture and not just do this in isolation.
