Hey there, thanks for your report. Sadly, the issue is NOT related to Ascension. It is a general Mac App Store problem / bug and Apple support should (and in fact needs to) take care of it.

If these solutions won't work for you, you'll have to contact Apple support and they send you a redemption code to work around. Hope this helps, best!
I have 2.0.6 on Mac OS X Version 10.8.2 when I try to update to 2.0.7 in the App Store it says: You have updates available for other accounts Sign in to moorganhart to update applications for that account. I am signed in to my only account; moorganhart@mac.com. I have screenshots to prove all of this but there is no way to attach images to this.
